Indiana High School Basketball - Northview thwarts Cascade

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Northview Knights (Brazil, IN) and the visiting Cascade Cadets (Clayton, IN), observed Northview's basketball team knock off Cascade by a score of 42-27.

The Knights (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against South Putnam (Greencastle, IN). The Eagles come into the Western Indiana challenge with a 10-6 record. In their last challenge, South Putnam prevailed over Riverton Parke (Montezuma, IN), 62-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cadets encounter the Martinsville Artesians (Martinsville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Cascade will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Artesians come into the challenge with a 4-12 record after their 38-20 non-league win over Terre Haute South Vigo (Terre Haute, IN).
