In Tuesday's league contest, the host Westminster Owls basketball team scored a good 47-29 win over the Century Knights.
The Owls (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Winters Mill (Westminster, MD). The Falcons come into the Carroll County contest with a 4-6 record. In their last contest, Winters Mill was topped by Smithsburg (Smithsburg, MD), 60-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Knights battle the Manchester Valley Mavericks (Manchester, MD) in a Carroll County contest, on Friday, January 17. Century will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Mavericks come into the contest with a 6-3 record after their 51-27 league win over Francis Scott Key (Union Bridge, MD).
