The Taylor County Vikings basketball team scored 51 points and limited the visiting Chattahoochee County Panthers to 34 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now have a 12-0 record. They play next when they host Schley County for a A D2 Region 6 game on Friday, January 17. Taylor County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 43-35 league win over Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 8-7.
With the loss, Chattahoochee County falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Panthers host Crawford County (Roberta, GA) to confront the Eagles in a A D2 Region 6 game on Friday, January 17. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-12. Crawford County lost 33-28 in their recent league game against Central (Talbotton, GA)
