The Comets now possess a 12-7 record. They play next when they travel to Illinois Lutheran for a River Valley game on Thursday, January 16. Clifton Central will confront a Chargers team coming off a 64-13 league loss to Tri-Point (Cullom, IL). The Chargers record now stands at 1-12.

With the loss, Iroquois West falls to 8-11 on the campaign. The Raiders host Armstrong (Armstrong, IL) to confront the Trojans in a Vermilion Valley game on Thursday, January 16. The Trojans go into the game with a record of 6-11. Armstrong lost 45-39 in their recent non-league match against Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin (Bismarck, IL)
