The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Scott Highlanders (Huntsville, TN) and the host Clinton Dragons (Clinton, TN), observed Scott's basketball team overcome Clinton by a margin of 54-46.

The Highlanders (12-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cumberland Gap (Cumberland Gap, TN). The Panthers come into the 3A District 4 challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Cumberland Gap defeated Barbourville (Barbourville, KY), 39-32, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN) in a 3A District 4 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Clinton will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Mavericks come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 75-45 league win over Gibbs (Corryton, TN).
