The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Columbus Christian Academy rams (Steens, MS) and the host Kemper Academy Rams (DeKalb, MS), observed Columbus Christian Academy's basketball team overwhelm Kemper Academy by a score of 58-27.

The rams (16-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Hebron Christian (Pheba, MS). The Eagles come into the MAIS 2A District 2 challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Hebron Christian was routed by Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS), 49-34, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams battle the Sylva Bay Academy Saints (Bay Springs, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 20. Kemper Academy will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
