In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Conestoga Valley Buckskins basketball team scored a big 70-30 win over the Garden Spot Spartans.

The Buckskins (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Ephrata (Ephrata, PA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league contest with a 10-3 record. In their last contest, Ephrata smashed Elizabethtown (Elizabethtown, PA), 53-18, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Cocalico Eagles (Denver, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 contest, on Friday, January 17. Garden Spot will attempt to better on its 2-6 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 5-4 record after their 55-40 league win over Solanco (Quarryville, PA).
