The Cotter Warriors basketball squad (Cotter, AR), lost 48-31 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Mammoth Spring Bears (Mammoth Spring, AR)
With the victory, Mammoth Spring advances its record to 8-12 on the year. The Bears host Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR) to meet the Greyhounds in a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 17. The Greyhounds enter the battle with a record of 22-2. Sloan-Hendrix won 61-30 in their recent league battle against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR)
The Warriors now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Izard County for a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 17. Cotter will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 81-57 non-league win over Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 12-4.
