The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions (San Jose, CA) and the host Design Tech Dragons (Redwood City, CA), observed Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit's basketball team knock off Design Tech by a score of 44-31.

The Lions (3-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Summit Shasta (Daly City, CA). The Black Bears come into the Private School - Bay challenge with a 5-4 record. In their last challenge, Summit Shasta prevailed over Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA), 76-7, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Dragons encounter the University Prep Academy Golden Eagles (San Jose, CA) in a Private School - Bay challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Design Tech will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 40-39 league win over The Nueva School (San Mateo, CA).
