The Hartselle Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and limited the visiting Cullman Bearcats to 30 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 20-3 record. They play next when they travel to Decatur for a 6A Area 15 game on Friday, January 17. Hartselle will confront a Red Raiders team coming off a 58-46 league loss to Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 9-13.

With the loss, Cullman falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Bearcats travel to Mortimer Jordan (Kimberly, AL) to confront the Blue Devils in a 6A Area 13 game on Friday, January 17. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 14-6. Mortimer Jordan won 64-30 in their recent league game against Jasper (Jasper, AL)
