The Dakota Cougars basketball squad (Macomb, MI), was crushed 68-36 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Utica Eisenhower Eagles (Shelby Township, MI)

With the victory, Utica Eisenhower advances its record to 9-0 on the year. The Eagles host Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to meet the Norsemen in a Macomb Area - Red battle on Thursday, January 16. The Norsemen enter the battle with a record of 5-4. Grosse Pointe North lost 44-34 in their recent league battle against Grosse Pointe South (Grosse Pointe, MI)

The Cougars now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Huron for a Macomb Area - Red battle on Thursday, January 16. Dakota will meet a Red Hawks squad coming off a 62-25 league loss to Utica Ford (Sterling Heights, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 6-4.
