The Diagonal Maroons (Diagonal, IA) basketball toppled the host Moulton-Udell Eagles (Moulton, IA), 34-26 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Maroons now possess a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mormon Trail for a Bluegrass outing on Friday, January 17.
The Eagles (2-9) will now prepare for their outing against Keota (Keota, IA). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 5-9 record. In their last outing, Keota was dropped by North Mahaska (New Sharon, IA), 66-26, in a league outing.
