The Broncos (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA). The Jaguars come into the AAAA Region 8 challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, Cedar Shoals was tipped by Eastside (Covington, GA), 49-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Walnut Grove will attempt to improve on its 8-8 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 7-11 record after their 58-38 league loss to Jackson County (Jefferson, GA).
