The Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) basketball toppled the visiting Twin Springs Titans (Nickelsville, VA), 60-48 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Spartans now possess a 6-6 record. They play next when they host J.I. Burton for a Cumberland bout on Friday, January 17. Eastside will play a Black Raiders team coming off a 59-23 league win over Rye Cove (Clinchport, VA). The Black Raiders record now stands at 7-1.

With the loss, Twin Springs falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Titans host Thomas Walker (Ewing, VA) to play the Pioneers in a Cumberland bout on Friday, January 17. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 1-7.
