The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Eau Claire Memorial Old Abes (Eau Claire, WI) and the host Eau Claire North Huskies (Eau Claire, WI), observed Eau Claire Memorial's basketball team overwhelm Eau Claire North by a score of 70-46.

The Old Abes (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Menomonie (Menomonie, WI). The Mustangs come into the Big Rivers challenge with a 9-5 record. In their last challenge, Menomonie trounced Chippewa Falls (Chippewa Falls, WI), 79-46, in a league challenge.

Coming up next, the Huskies play the River Falls Wildcats (River Falls, WI) in a Big Rivers bout, on Friday, January 17. Eau Claire North will attempt to move on its 7-7 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 56-37 league loss to Rice Lake (Rice Lake, WI).
