The Fort Scott Tigers basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Pittsburg Dragons to 36 in the Tigers league triumph on Tuesday.
The Tigers now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Field Kindley for a Southeast Kansas game on Friday, January 17. Fort Scott will play a Golden Tornado team coming off a 55-34 league win over Chanute (Chanute, KS). The Golden Tornado record now stands at 3-1.
With the loss, Pittsburg falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Dragons host Labette County (Altamont, KS) to play the Grizzlies in a Southeast Kansas game on Friday, January 17. The Grizzlies go into the game with a record of 7-0. Labette County won 62-20 in their recent league game against Chanute (Chanute, KS)
