The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) and the visiting Hart County Bulldogs (Hartwell, GA), observed Franklin County's basketball team knock off Hart County by a score of 68-51.

The Lions (9-8) will now prepare for their challenge against East Jackson (Commerce, GA). The Eagles come into the AA Region 8 challenge with a 6-10 record. In their last challenge, East Jackson was knocked off by Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA), 58-26, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) in a AA Region 8 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Hart County will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record.
