The Grenada Chargers basketball squad (Grenada, MS), was crushed 74-48 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS)
With the victory, Olive Branch advances its record to 14-7 on the year. The Conquistadors host South Panola (Batesville, MS) to meet the Tigers in a 6A Region 1 battle on Friday, January 17. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 13-4. South Panola won 62-26 in their recent league battle against Saltillo (Saltillo, MS)
The Chargers now own a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rosa Fort for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 16. Grenada will meet a Lions squad coming off a 40-35 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, MS). The Lions record now stands at 7-9.
