In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Harrisonburg Blue Streaks basketball team scored a good 53-36 triumph over the William Monroe Dragons.
The Blue Streaks (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Broadway (Broadway, VA). The Gobblers go into the Valley contest with a 8-2 record. In their last contest, Broadway was topped by East Rockingham (Elkton, VA), 36-29, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons confront the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a Valley contest, on Friday, January 17. William Monroe will attempt to better on its 4-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 5-7 record after their 77-29 league loss to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA).
