The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) and the host Springfield Cougars (Springfield, PA), observed Haverford's basketball team knock off Springfield by a score of 49-33.

The Fords (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Strath Haven (Wallingford, PA). The Panthers come into the Central challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Strath Haven dropped by Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA), 71-44, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars encounter the Upper Darby Royals (Drexel Hill, PA) in a Central challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Springfield will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record.
