In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting Holland Christian Maroons basketball team scored a good 53-41 triumph over the Zeeland East Chix.
The Maroons (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Spring Lake (Spring Lake, MI). The Lakers go into the non-league contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Spring Lake topped Zeeland West (Zeeland, MI), 27-25, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Chix confront the Forest Hills Central Rangers (Grand Rapids, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Zeeland East will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Rangers go into the contest with a 3-6 record after their 62-46 non-league loss to Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI).
