The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Jourdanton Indians/Squaws (Jourdanton, TX) and the host Hondo Owls (Hondo, TX), observed Jourdanton's basketball team overwhelm Hondo by a score of 77-45.

The Indians/Squaws (23-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Crystal City (Crystal City, TX). The Javelinas come into the 3A Region IV District 28 challenge with a 14-8 record. In their last challenge, Crystal City trounced Natalia (Natalia, TX), 55-49, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Owls encounter the Dilley Wolves (Dilley, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 28 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Hondo will attempt to improve on its 19-5 season record. The Wolves come into the challenge with a 4-18 record after their 34-20 league loss to Lytle (Lytle, TX).
