North Carolina High School Basketball - Hunt triumphant over South Johnston

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Hunt Warriors (Wilson, NC) and the host South Johnston Trojans (Four Oaks, NC), observed Hunt's basketball team overwhelm South Johnston by a margin of 56-24.
The Warriors (5-8) will now prepare for their challenge against West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Wildcats come into the 3A Quad County challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, West Johnston trounced C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC), 36-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Southern Wayne Saints (Dudley, NC) in a 3A Quad County challenge, on Wednesday, January 15. South Johnston will attempt to better on its 2-10 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 5-7 record after their 59-32 league win over Smithfield-Selma (Smithfield, NC).
