Next, the Yellowjackets clash with the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Iowa will attempt to improve on its 14-6 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 13-10 record after their 58-50 non-league win over Plainview (Glenmora, LA).

The Warhorses (11-9) will now prepare for their test against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars come into the 4A District 2 test with a 3-15 record. In their last test, Grant went down by Tioga (Tioga, LA), 51-18, in a non-league test.
