The Johnson/Washington Tech Governors basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting St. Paul Academy-Summit Spartans to 30 in the Governors league triumph on Tuesday.

The Governors now possess a 9-4 record. They play next when they host Humboldt for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Johnson/Washington Tech will play a Hawks team coming off a 76-15 non-league loss to Como Park (St. Paul, MN). The Hawks record now stands at 3-13.

With the loss, St. Paul Academy-Summit falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Spartans host Breck (Minneapolis, MN) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 7-6. Breck won 61-21 in their recent non-league game against Mounds Park Academy (St. Paul, MN)
