The Komets (11-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Goodhue (Goodhue, MN). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 10-4 record. In their last challenge, Goodhue dropped by Stewartville (Stewartville, MN), 77-70, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Cannon Falls Bombers (Cannon Falls, MN) in a AA Section 1 challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Lake City will attempt to improve on its 9-6 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 6-9 record after their 68-62 league win over Pine Island (Pine Island, MN).
