The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Keene Blackbirds (Keene, NH) and the visiting Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH), observed Keene's basketball team overcome Timberlane by a score of 57-37.

The Blackbirds (6-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Salem, NH). The Blue Devils come into the Division I challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Salem dropped by Concord Christian (Concord, NH), 53-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Owls battle the Sanborn Regional Indians (Kingston, NH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Timberlane will attempt to improve on its 4-5 season record. The Indians come into the challenge with a 2-5 record after their 40-37 league loss to Kennett (Conway, NH).
