The Powell Panthers basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Knoxville Central Bobcats to 43 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Panthers now have a 12-8 record. They play next when they host Halls for a 4A District 3 game on Friday, January 17. Powell will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 61-33 league loss to Karns (Knoxville, TN). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-14.

With the loss, Knoxville Central falls to 4-9 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Campbell County (Jacksboro, TN) to confront the Cougars in a 4A District 3 game on Tuesday, January 21. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 15-3. Campbell County won 59-42 in their recent league game against Karns (Knoxville, TN)
