In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Krum Bobcats basketball team scored a close 48-41 triumph over the Springtown Porcupines.

The Bobcats (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Castleberry (Fort Worth, TX). The Lions go into the 4A Region I District 7 contest with a 6-19 record. In their last contest, Castleberry was tipped by Bridgeport (Bridgeport, TX), 93-13, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Porcupines confront the Burkburnett Bulldogs (Burkburnett, TX) in a 4A Region I District 7 contest, on Saturday, January 18. Springtown will attempt to better on its 6-14 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 23-4 record after their 61-26 league win over Eagle Mountain (Fort Worth, TX).
