La Crosse Central Riverhawks (La Crosse, WI) backers went home pleased Tuesday as they observed their basketball team overwhelm the host La Crosse Logan Rangers (La Crosse, WI), 42-21 in a league challenge.

The Riverhawks (10-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Holmen (Holmen, WI). The Vikings come into the Mississippi Valley challenge with a 6-6 record. In their last challenge, Holmen trounced Sparta (Sparta, WI), 53-39, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Onalaska Hilltoppers (Onalaska, WI) in a Mississippi Valley challenge, on Friday, January 17. La Crosse Logan will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 57-36 league loss to Aquinas (La Crosse, WI).
