Georgia High School Basketball - Sandy Creek crushes LaGrange

January 14, 2025: LaGrange, GA 30240

The Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA) basketball crushed the host LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA), 63-21 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Patriots now possess a 12-3 record. They play next when they travel to Upson-Lee for a AAA Region 2 bout on Friday, January 17. Sandy Creek will play a Knights team coming off a 67-24 league win over Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA). The Knights record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, LaGrange falls to 4-13 on the campaign. The Grangers host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a AAA Region 2 bout on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Mary Persons lost 61-30 in their recent league bout against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)
