The Laurel Golden Tornadoes bounced the visiting Vancleave Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 69-18 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Golden Tornadoes clash with the Gautier Gators (Gautier, MS) in a 5A Region 4 outing, on Friday, January 17. Laurel will attempt to upgrade on its 21-1 season record. The Gators enter the outing with a 6-16 record after their 34-28 league win over Stone (Wiggins, MS).

The Bulldogs (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Wayne County (Waynesboro, MS). The War Eagles enter the 5A Region 4 outing with a 13-5 record. In their last outing, Wayne County routed East Central (Moss Point, MS), 58-27, in a league outing.
