Next, the Mustangs face the Dawson Dragons (Welch, TX) in a 1A Region I District 6 outing, on Friday, January 17. Sands will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Dragons enter the outing with a 5-13 record after their 57-16 league loss to Klondike (Lamesa, TX).
The Longhorns (8-9) will now prepare for their outing against Borden County (Gail, TX). The Coyotes enter the 1A Region I District 6 outing with a 15-6 record.
