In Tuesday's league contest, the host Wapello Indians basketball team scored a good 38-23 triumph over the Louisa-Muscatine Falcons.

The Indians (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lone Tree (Lone Tree, IA). The Lions go into the SEI - North contest with a 9-4 record. In their last contest, Lone Tree topped Winfield-Mt. Union (Winfield, IA), 74-35, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the WACO Warriors (Wayland, IA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Louisa-Muscatine will attempt to better on its 4-9 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 9-2 record after their 55-31 non-league win over Pekin (Packwood, IA).
