Washington High School Basketball - Lynden Christian triumphant over Mt. Baker

The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Lynden Christian Lyncs (Lynden, WA) and the visiting Mt. Baker Mountaineers (Deming, WA), observed Lynden Christian's basketball team overwhelm Mt. Baker by a score of 74-16.
The Lyncs (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Squalicum (Bellingham, WA). The Storm come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge with a 7-5 record. In their last challenge, Squalicum trounced Mount Vernon (Mount Vernon, WA), 68-32, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Mountaineers battle the Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA) in a 1A/2A/3A Northwest challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Mt. Baker will attempt to improve on its 6-6 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 9-3 record after their 57-5 league win over Blaine (Blaine, WA).
