The Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) basketball edged the host St. Clair Cyclones (St. Clair, MN), 68-63 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 9-16 record. They play next when they travel to Wyndmere/Lidgerwood for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Maple River will play a Warbirds team coming off a 59-34 non-league win over Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter (Napoleon, ND). The Warbirds record now stands at 7-3.
With the loss, St. Clair falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Windom (Windom, MN) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 14-3. Windom lost 84-48 in their recent league bout against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN)
