The Mustangs now possess a 7-12 record. They play next when they travel to Clarendon for a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, January 17. Wheeler will play a Broncos team coming off a 53-26 league loss to Panhandle (Panhandle, TX). The Broncos record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, Memphis falls to 6-11 on the campaign. The Cyclones host Quanah (Quanah, TX) to play the Indians in a 2A Region I District 2 bout on Friday, January 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 18-7. Quanah won 58-27 in their recent league bout against Highland Park (Amarillo, TX)
