The Badgers (9-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Grape Creek (San Angelo, TX). The Eagles come into the 3A Region I District 6 challenge with a 4-15 record. In their last challenge, Grape Creek edged Sweetwater (Sweetwater, TX), 42-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Clyde Bulldogs (Clyde, TX) in a 3A Region I District 6 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Sweetwater will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record.
