The West Carter Comets basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Morgan County Cougars to 50 in the Comets league triumph on Tuesday.

The Comets now possess a 4-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15.

With the loss, Morgan County falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to East Carter (Grayson, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 62 game on Thursday, January 16. The Raiders go into the game with a record of 8-6. East Carter won 51-39 in their recent league game against West Carter (Olive Hill, KY)
