In Tuesday's league test, the North Clayton Eagles (College Park, GA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Mt. Zion Bulldogs (Jonesboro, GA), by a score of 45-21.
Next, the Eagles encounter the Luella Lions (Luella, GA) in a AAA Region 5 test, on Friday, January 17. North Clayton will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Lions come into the test with a 12-3 record after their 58-46 league win over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA).
The Bulldogs (2-13) will now prepare for their test against Stone Mountain (Stone Mountain, GA). The Pirates come into the AAA Region 5 test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Stone Mountain was routed by Riverdale (Riverdale, GA), 43-35, in a league test.
