The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Muldrow Bulldogs (Muldrow, OK) and the host Poteau Pirates (Poteau, OK), observed Muldrow's basketball team overwhelm Poteau by a score of 48-22.

The Bulldogs (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Checotah (Checotah, OK). The Wildcats come into the NOAA challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Checotah was routed by Sallisaw (Sallisaw, OK), 58-30, in a league battle.

The Pirates now own a 1-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roland for a NOAA battle on Friday, January 17. Poteau will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 53-27 league win over Stilwell (Stilwell, OK). The Rangers record now stands at 9-3.
