The St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) basketball crushed the host North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA), 52-27 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Golden Lions now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tucker for a AAAA Region 5 bout on Friday, January 17. St. Pius X Catholic will play a Tigers team coming off a 41-27 league win over Clarkston (Clarkston, GA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.
With the loss, North Springs falls to 6-13 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Marist (Atlanta, GA) to play the War Eagles in a AAAA Region 5 bout on Thursday, January 16. The War Eagles go into the bout with a record of 15-2. Marist won 82-5 in their recent league bout against Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA)
