In Tuesday's league contest, the visiting Olathe South Falcons basketball team scored a good 45-29 triumph over the Shawnee Mission East Lancers.

The Falcons (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Olathe North (Olathe, KS). The Eagles go into the Sunflower contest with a 3-4 record. In their last contest, Olathe North topped Lawrence Free State (Lawrence, KS), 61-12, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lancers battle the Shawnee Mission Northwest Cougars (Shawnee Mission, KS) in a Sunflower contest, on Friday, January 17. Shawnee Mission East will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 60-46 league win over Olathe Northwest (Olathe, KS).
