In Tuesday's league contest, the host Paschal Panthers basketball team scored a big 57-32 triumph over the South Hills Scorpions.

The Panthers (12-12) will now prepare for their contest against Trimble Tech (Fort Worth, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 5A Region I District 7 contest with a 1-14 record. In their last contest, Trimble Tech was trounced by North Side (Fort Worth, TX), 36-10, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Scorpions battle the Polytechnic Parrots (Fort Worth, TX) in a 5A Region I District 7 contest, on Friday, January 17. South Hills will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record. The Parrots go into the contest with a 5-14 record after their 63-14 league loss to Paschal (Fort Worth, TX).
