Iowa High School Basketball - Prairie City-Monroe knocks off West Marshall

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs basketball team scored a good 69-55 win over the West Marshall Trojans.
The Mustangs (11-2) will now prepare for their contest against Greene County (Jefferson, IA). The Rams come into the Heart of Iowa contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Greene County was topped by Perry (Perry, IA), 38-27, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Carlisle Wildcats (Carlisle, IA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. West Marshall will attempt to advance on its 9-4 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 10-2 record after their 48-27 league win over A-D-M (Adel, IA).
