The Rancho Alamitos Vaqueros basketball team scored 33 points and limited the visiting Saddleback Roadrunners to 10 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Tuesday.

The Vaqueros now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Bolsa Grande for a Garden Grove game on Friday, January 17. Rancho Alamitos will confront a Matadors team coming off a 47-33 non-league win over Century (Santa Ana, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 10-8.

With the loss, Saddleback falls to 5-13 on the campaign. The Roadrunners travel to El Modena (Orange, CA) to confront the Vanguards in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Vanguards go into the game with a record of 16-4. El Modena lost 36-29 in their recent league game against Foothill (Santa Ana, CA)
