The Cubs (8-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Fayetteville (Fayetteville, TX). The Lions come into the 1A Region IV District 29 challenge with a 9-14 record. In their last challenge, Fayetteville prevailed over Victoria Cobra HomeSchool (Victoria, TX), 36-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Dime Box Longhorns (Dime Box, TX) in a 1A Region IV District 29 challenge, on Friday, January 17. Richards will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record.
