The Scott Beavers basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Ulysses Tigers to 30 in the Beavers league triumph on Tuesday.

The Beavers now possess a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Colby for a Great Western bout on Friday, January 17. Scott will play a Eagles team coming off a 50-30 league win over Goodland (Goodland, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Ulysses falls to 1-8 on the campaign. The Tigers host Holcomb (Holcomb, KS) to play the Longhorns in a Great Western bout on Friday, January 17. The Longhorns go into the bout with a record of 8-1. Holcomb won 54-39 in their recent non-league bout against Lakin (Lakin, KS)
