North Carolina High School Basketball - Southeast Halifax routed by Wilson Prep

Wilson Prep Tigers (Wilson, NC) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Southeast Halifax Trojans (Halifax, NC), 70-17 in a league match.

With the victory, Wilson Prep upgrades its record to 11-1 on the year. The Tigers host Northampton County (Gaston, NC) to face the Jaguars in a 1A Tar Roanoke match on Friday, January 17. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 5-8. Northampton County lost 62-35 in their recent league match against North Edgecombe (Tarboro, NC)

The Trojans now sport a 2-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nash Central for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. Southeast Halifax will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-31 non-league win over Beddingfield (Wilson, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-5.

The Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy (Halifax, NC) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference game against Wilson Prep (Wilson, NC) by a score of 70-17.
