The West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL) basketball edged the visiting Westminster Christian Academy Wildcats (Huntsville, AL), 46-42 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Madison Academy for a 4A Area 15 bout on Friday, January 17. West Limestone will play a Mustangs team coming off a 57-24 league win over St. John Paul II (Huntsville, AL). The Mustangs record now stands at 23-1.

With the loss, Westminster Christian Academy falls to 8-10 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Randolph School (Huntsville, AL) to play the Raiders in a 4A Area 15 bout on Friday, January 17. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 4-14. Randolph School lost 52-26 in their recent non-league bout against Oneonta (Oneonta, AL)
